The STEM education is actively practiced in our school so as to enhance our students' questioning, investigating and problem solving skills.
      • Development of Key Tasks We believe that good moral character is the quality that everyone should have. Therefore, the school actively promotes positive education and with “Hope” as the theme throughout the year. In addition, we believe in the importance of reading to learning, and therefore pays special attention to promoting reading and creating a reading atmosphere so that students can develop reading skills and are encouraged to self-learn.
      • Development of Generic Skills Through the formal curriculum, informal curriculum and hidden curriculum, students will continue to develop nine common skills including communication, collaboration, self-management and problem solving skills. The students' learning results will be presented to parents before the end of the term.
      • Whole School Approach to Cater for Student Diversity Our school has set up a student support team to provide appropriate support to students with different abilities.
      • Whole School Approach to Integrated Education Every day, social workers are stationed in schools to provide social skills training for students in need. In addition, we would also arrange educational psychologists and speech therapists to provide assessment services and follow students in need.
      • Education Support for Non-Chinese Speaking(NCS) Students Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: providing after-school support programmes in learning Chinese; appoints additional teacher(s)/teaching assistant(s) to support NCS students’ learning of Chinese; arranging intensive Chinese learning and teaching mode(s), e.g. pull-out learning if necessary, split-class/group learning, etc.; and organising cultural integration activities.
      • Curriculum Tailoring and Adaptation Our PRP lessons are implemented in a three-tier structure, providing elite classes for high-ability students and providing support for less able students. For students with special educational needs, the school can make homework adjustments or make appropriate arrangements for the assessment.
      • Home-School Co-operation The Parent-Teacher Association organizes different kinds of parent volunteer services, such as library volunteers, lunch volunteers, story-telling parents, etc., not only assisting schools in organizing various activities, but also helping teachers to produce teaching materials.
