We organize different environmental education activities such as paper recycling, clothes recycling and Environmental Protection Ambassador Scheme. 3.       • Learning & Teaching Strategies 1. Students should also be well-equipped with self-learning skills. 2. We put heavy emphasis on biliteracy and trilingualism. We have adopted 'Share Book Approach' in ENGLISH LESSON. Through interesting stories, lively language learning activities and a wide range of teaching materials, students can learn English in a pleasant and relaxed environment. 3. We have adopted Inquiry-based learning. This could help students enhance and develop their nine generic skills using in General Studies; 4. We also organize different learning activities to enrich students learning experience, e.g. Life-wide Learning Day, Outdoor Learning Day, Overseas Learning Programmes, etc.
      • Development of Key Tasks 1. Reading Programmes: With a well-stocked library, we launch various programmes including Chinese and English Extensive Reading Schemes; Family Reading Challenge Awards Programme, Stories by Mums and Dads Scheme, Morning Reading Time, Peer-Reading Scheme and Reading Ambassador Scheme. 2. Information Technology (IT) in Education: We set up data banks for teachers and establish diversified online learning platforms and enhance teachers to use IT in teaching. 3. Project Learning: Project learning is launched in General Studies and related skills are penetrated in other subjects to raise students' capabilities in exploration and inquiry. 4. Moral and Civic Education: We boost the development of students' moral and personal growth through weekly moral and personal growth sessions. 5. STEM Education: We enhance students' interest in STEM-related disciplines and strengthen their ability to integrate and apply knowledge and skills through Science Day and ECA groups.
      • Development of Generic Skills The generic skills are developed through classroom learning and also learning outside the classrooms. We emphasise high-order thinking training and to nurture students' self-learning abilities.
      • Whole School Approach to Cater for Student Diversity Our School has launched Collaborative Learning Approach to enhance students' inquiring minds and team spirit. We also organize gifted courses, e-learning platforms, after-school consolidation groups, elite classes to cater for students' learning diversities. Good Kids Awarding Scheme is implemented to raise students' learning motivation.
      • Whole School Approach to Integrated Education Through additional resources from the EDB, appropriate services are offered for SEN students such as speech therapy, small group training, etc.
      • Curriculum Tailoring and Adaptation To enhance students' learning efficiency and cater individual needs, we provide enhancement programme to offer focused support to students.
      • Home-School Co-operation Our parents participate enthusiastically in all school activities, and groups of volunteers are formed to assist in all co-ordination work. The home-school cooperation is fully shown. To conform to the school theme of love, caring and environmental protection, the PTA recycles the used school books and uniforms and passes onto those in need.
      • School Ethos Our School stresses on the importance of student discipline and personality development. The work of discipline and guidance is combined and the Whole-School Approach is adopted in all programmes. There are programmes on life education, school-based activities, classroom management and various moral education talks, in which students are nurtured in developing positive value systems. Through a Comprehensive Student Counselling System, a series of preventive, developing and corrective measures and activities are introduced in accordance with related parent education activities to support students' holistic growth.
