School's Major Concerns1. To nurture students' self-directed learning attitude and improve their learning outcomes by adopting multiple learning strategies. 2. To enhance professional leadership skills by using professional learning community. 3. To nurture students' positive values by the adoption of positive education.
Learning & Teaching StrategiesOur school is now implementing gifted education programmes in different levels, we aimed at cultivating and nurturing our students' potentials through various learning experiences.
Development of Key Tasks1. To build up a fundamental reading habit, we run a whole school "Reading Scheme". Parent volunteers are also invited to come to the school to tell stories to students. 2. Computer-room is opened before and after school and during recesses to maximize the chances for students to master IT skills. 3. Project learning is conducted to students of all levels. 4. Moral education is also one of our major concerns. A specific theme is set each week to raise their awareness of developing good citizenship. Educational camps are participated by P.4 to P.6 students each year.
Development of Generic SkillsStudents are encouraged to join voluntary services and take part in extra-curriculum activities, so as to enhance their generic skills.
Whole School Approach to Cater for Student Diversity1. Teachers employ Effective learning and teaching strategies, such as Small Group Learning, Collaborative Teaching and Differentiated Teaching etc. 2. Teachers are advised to use a number of assessment methods in order to allow students, including those with disabilities, to display their competencies. 3. Remedial teaching is provided to give additional help to students who have fallen behind the rest of the class in the subjects of Chinese, English and Mathematics. 4. The gifted education group is set up to organize multi-curricular courses to develop students' potential.
Whole School Approach to Integrated Education1. The Student Support Team and the School Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) support Whole School Approach to integrated education. 2. Intensive Remedial Teaching Programme (IRTP) and Remedial Classes have been promoted. They aimed at providing intensive remedial teaching geared to the learning difficulties of pupils so that they can work and progress at a rate commensurate with their abilities and aptitude. 3. Study skills training groups are deployed to the students assessed to have persistent learning difficulties. 4. School-based Educational Psychology Service and Speech Therapy Service are promoted to enhance the support for schools in catering for students’ educational needs.
Curriculum Tailoring and Adaptation1. Through small class teaching, curriculum tailoring, the IT supports, diversified teaching strategies and assessments to accommodate the learning characteristics and abilities of students. 2. Teachers formulate various individualized education program, homework and assessment accommodations to address the needs of individual students.
Home-School Co-operationBesides assisting in classroom learning activities, PTA members and parent volunteers come to the school to lead various interest groups. Outings and parent education workshops are also conducted yearly to enhance cooperation between school and parents.
School Ethos1. In order to help P.1 students to familiarize with their primary school life, bridging courses and summer camps are arranged for P.1 students and parents during the summer holidays. 2. Children are encouraged to participate in various physical and musical activities so as to foster their self-confidence. 3. Students are encouraged to join various volunteer groups such as Scouts, CYC, IT Pilots to help them develop "a sense to serve and not to be served".

Teacher Professional Training & Development3 days of school-based professional training are conducted every year. Teachers are also encouraged to attend various professional training courses. Try to develop sister schools and encourage academic exchange.
OthersOur school is committed to providing a quality and all-round education aims to provide holistic education to students. Students' potential is further enhanced by providing them with opportunities to participate in various extra-curricular activities. Our students had great achievements in extra-curricular activities such as champions of the Hong Kong Chinese Martial Art Competitions, champions of Chinese and English Choral Speaking Competition of Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival and champions of story-telling competitions. Moreover, they performed excellent in Mathematics, dancing, athletics and percussion competitions. Over the past years, we are honored to have been recognized and awarded for our efforts.
