      • Diversified Assessment for Learning The school focuses on formative assessment in group and individual settings. Through Theme-based project learning, students' discerning mind and problem-solving skills are being continuously enhanced. We also assess the learning attitude of students in different subjects, such as Arts, Music, Putonghua and Religious studies.

      • Healthy school life We have been awarded the honour of "Caring Campus" for years. We encourage pupils to do morning exercise before lessons start. They also take part in various activities during lunch break.
      • Remarks Personal growth lessons are conducted weekly. The enhancement training programmes for gifted pupils and remedial programmes for pupils with special educational needs are organised before and after school. We also offer morning reading session and homework tutorial lessons.

      • School Management Organisation Through school-based management, an effective and responsible management system has been developed to ensure the quality of teaching and learning.
      • Incorporated Management Committee / School Management Committee/ Management Committee The Incorporated Management Committee is established to enhance the transparency and accountability of school governance. Teachers, parents and alumni are invited to be the School Management Committee through election.
      • School Green Policy Organic planting improves the environmental knowledge of our students. Joining the "One person, one flower" Scheme enhances students' sense of environmental protection. We also encourage students using less air condition and paper. Students also reuse their old uniform and share their old storybooks.

      • Learning & Teaching Strategies We have established individual talented profile for further exerting students' talents since 2014. Some P.4-P.6 students have joined the Gifted scheme in order to enhance their leadership skills. Some English lessons are co-taught by English native teachers and local English teachers. Funding by SCOLAR has been approved to incorporate language arts into the English curriculum and to develop a school-based e-storybook Reading Scheme. We carry out PL-P/RW programme at P.1-P.3 levels to enhance students' skills in speaking, listening, writing and reading. In order to provide students with more learning opportunities, various activities are organised before and after school, such as visits, excursions, multi-intelligent activities, project learning and social service. Cross-curriculum learning activity is designed to enhance students' generic skills. Co-operative learning strategies are promoted to cater for learner diversity.
      • Development of Key Tasks Reading to learn: Implement an Chinese and English reading award program and develop students' reading strategies. School-based Chinese Storybooks Teaching has been adopted at P.1-P.2 levels. We also have morning reading session, e-reading platform and story-telling auntie to motivate and help students develop good reading habits. Information technology for interactive learning: Wi-fi covers the whole school, students can use internet learning platform for learning (Wifi 900). We also incorporate I.T in teaching and learning activity during lessons. Project learning: Cross-curriculum project learning is adopted to enhance students' knowledge and generic skills. Moral and civic education: Implement school-based guidance programme and social service scheme.
      • Development of Generic Skills Develop students' generic skills through cross-curriculum project learning, higher order thinking skills and drama teaching.
      • Whole School Approach to Cater for Student Diversity 1. We offer support teacher to co-teach and help during lessons. Pull-out mode is also implemented for some students needed. 2. We offer various oportunities for talented children, e.g. Multi-intelligence Class for Gifted children, NEoAGTD and The Hong Kong Academy for Gifted Education.
      • Whole School Approach to Integrated Education Our School Support Team organises various remedial programmes to meet students' different learning needs, such as Attention Group, Social Skills Groups, Dyslexia Group, Reading and writing class, Remedial class and Homework Tutorial Groups.
      • Education Support for Non-Chinese Speaking(NCS) Students Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: arranging intensive Chinese learning and teaching mode(s), e.g. pull-out learning if necessary, split-class/group learning, etc.; and organising cultural integration activities. Before-lesson Chinese Class, Reading and Writing Class, Remedial Class and after-school homework tutorial classes are provided for NCS Students.
      • Curriculum Tailoring and Adaptation Individualized Education Programme (IEP) is designed for pupils with special educational needs. Moreover, some support measures are adopted, e.g. reducing the quantity of homework, extending the examinations' time limit, adapting Dictation contents and scoring methods, adapting Dictation contents and scoring methods and other small group trainings etc.
      • Home-school Co-operation and School Ethos
        • Home-School Co-operation PTA is well-organised and various activities such as morning tea time, parent talk, parent-child picnic, parent-child interest classes are held regularly to enhance the communication between teachers and parents. A team of parent volunteers also help in various school activities.

        • Others "Happy Wednesdays" has been a new policy since this year. No homework will be assigned on Wednesdays. We encourage pupils to read more, develop their own interests and carry out more parent-child activities. We received a retired bus under "Used and Retired Bus Programme" organised by KMB last December. The bus will be regenerated as a student activities centre with diverse usage, including the English Language Room, Mobile Library and Visual Arts Exhibition Room.
