      • Healthy school life Healthy lunch is prepared by our caterer to help students to develop and establish healthy eating habits. We join "Eat Smart School Accreditation Scheme." Besides, we join the Easy Sport Program, the Sport Act Award Scheme which are organised by the LCSD and the Hong Kong Elite Athletes Association 'Active School Scheme'. Our school also implements the morning exercise to promote sports culture.

      • Learning & Teaching Strategies 1. Develop School-based Curriculum: Chinese - Carry out Cantonese-Putonghua bilingual teaching, P.4 to P.6 Unit teaching; Putonghua - P.1 & P.2 School-based Pinyin teaching resources; English - P.1 to P.3 Primary Literacy Programme for Reading and Writing (Space Town & PLP-R/W); PE - P.3 & P.4 Swimming lessons, P.1 to P.6 Hockey lessons; Computer Literacy - Promote e-learning, school-based teaching resources, coding education & mobile learning. GS – Promotion of STEM Education – Science inquiry learning activities are included in each level, set up the Observatory & Robot Teams, equip with cycling devices for generating electricity to get renewable energy. 2. Make good use of all learning time. Facilitate teaching and learning both inside and outside classrooms. Emphasize life-wide learning. Provide students with authentic learning experiences. Our important goal in teaching and learning is whole person development.
      • Development of Key Tasks 1. Develop a "reading to learn" culture; 2. Implement "project-learning"; 3. Encourage the use of IT for interactive learning; 4. Positive Education.
      • Development of Generic Skills Service learning, field trips, excursion and various curricular activities are well organised to develop students' multiple intelligences and generic skills.
      • Whole School Approach to Cater for Student Diversity 'Catering for Learner Differences' approach is adopted to cater for the needs of students. The school has implemented the three-tier operation mode for gifted students. 1. High order thinking questions are asked in lessons. 'Talent Pool' is developed. 2. Gifted students are selected to participate in different specialized training courses. 3. Students are provided with various opportunities to take part in competitions held outside school. Moreover, different progammes such as, Homework Support Classes, Self-learning Period, Induction Programme for newly arrived children, Chinese Proficiency Programme for Non-Chinese Students and After-school Homework Support Programme from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, are carried out.
      • Whole School Approach to Integrated Education The school has set up the Student Support Team to coordinate the three-tier support model. The team provides early identification and appropriate support to students according to their individual learning needs. Moreover, different support measures are provided (including Peer Reading Scheme, Reading and Writing Programmes, LEGO social classes, focus training classes, social skills training classes, sensory integration training programme, speech therapy services, and school-based adaptation plans for special educational needs students) with the use of Learning Support Grant, Enhanced Speech Therapy Grant and Newly Arrived Students School-Based Support Scheme Grant.
      • Education Support for Non-Chinese Speaking(NCS) Students Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: providing after-school support programmes in learning Chinese; appoints additional teacher(s)/teaching assistant(s) to support NCS students’ learning of Chinese; arranging intensive Chinese learning and teaching mode(s), e.g. pull-out learning if necessary, split-class/group learning, etc.; organising cultural integration activities; and hiring additional manpower and/or translation/interpretation services to facilitate the communication with parents. Promote 'Peer Reading Project' and Provide English version of most school notices.
      • Curriculum Tailoring and Adaptation The school has placed much importance of nurturing multiple intelligences to all students. In daily teaching, high order thinking questions are asked as well as problem-solving and multi-sensory elements are included. In order to strengthen the thinking skill of high academic achievers, teachers design challenging questions for them. Moreover, in order to arouse the learning interest and cater for the learning needs and styles of students with learning difficulties and special educational needs, the school has formulated the school-based adaptation plans or individual education plans (Tier-3 educational needs students).
      • Home-School Co-operation The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) helps to enhance home-school cooperation, parent-child relationship and students' whole person development. The PTA also helps in the implementation of school programmes, and enhances self-improvement of family members through various seminars and workshops.
      • School Ethos 1. Various topics of moral education are introduced in each level to help students to establish healthy living habits. 2.
